Spring Hill Garden Club
The Nature Coast Botanical Gardens
and Nursery

The Gardens and Nursery were created and are maintained entirely by volunteers, both from the Spring Hill Garden Club and the community. We are always looking for enthusiastic, hard working, plant loving volunteers.  Volunteers usually help out on Monday, Wednesday and/or Saturday mornings 9AM to Noon.  As a volunteer you work as few or many hours as you want and enjoy the flowers, birds and butterflies, while you do a service for our community. Helping in the gardens is a way to make new friends and enjoy our beautiful setting.  If you would like to become a volunteer, please e-mail us or call (352) 683-9933.
Or just show up at the gardens on one of the days mentioned and give us a hand.  We need volunteers in the Nursery, The Botanical Gardens and Our Landmark Waterfall on US 19.

We need your help... come on out and join us!

History

The Gardens were established in 1994, by members of the
Spring Hill Garden Club.  Spring Hill Garden Club uses a portion
of the 4.5 acres as a plant nursery, to raise funds for creating
and maintaining the Botanical Gardens. These Gardens have now expanded into 21 themed areas which comprise the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens. In 2011 the Club took on the project of restoring and maintaining the Landmark Spring Hill Waterfall.
