                Nature Coast Botanical Gardens

If you love gardening, or just want to get away from your daily stresses, then you will want to visit our Gardens.  Located just off Spring Hill Drive near the US 19 entrance, the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens became a reality as a result of many volunteer hours from the Spring Hill Garden Club members, as well as  other helpful community volunteers. 

 

Since November 15, 1994, the club has transformed 3.5 acres into an oasis of beauty and serenity.  During daylight hours, you can visit the gardens, enjoy 

the beauty of nature and find tranquility in the middle of a suburban area.  

Bring a snack or your lunch, sit at one of the picnic tables next to the waterfall. 

The gardens host special events, including art and music events and special environmental programs.  We encourage you to bring your children and grandchildren to these events.

 

The Botanical Gardens include 21 themed areas:

Guided tours of the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens

JOIN the Nature Coast Botanical Society

The Nature Coast Botanical Society and the Spring Hill Garden Club Nursery financially supports the Gardens.  As a 501(3)c corporation, your donation is

tax-deductible.  Donations are used for plants and materials needed to maintain and beautify the gardens.  The levels of donations are as follows:

  • Individual       $25
  • Family            $50
  • Patron           $100

 

Purchase an engraved brick to be placed into the Gardens to show your appreciation or to remember a loved one.  Engraved bricks may be placed in the Memorial or Butterfly Garden walkways.

  • 8"x8" engraved brick $150
  • 8"x8" Business engraved brick $200

The Nature Coast Botanical Gardens is sponsored by Spring Hill Garden Club, Inc.Daily admission is FREE, However donations are greatly appreciated.

There is a donation box located just inside the entrance to the Gardens.

Directions:
From Spring Hill Drive:  Turn onto Parker Ave, one street east of Kenlake Ave.   
The Nature Coast Botanical Gardens and Spring Hill Garden Club Nursery are located just past the Firehouse.
 
From US 19 turn onto Spring Hill Drive at the Waterfall.  Pass the first traffic light at Kenlake, take the next left turn onto Parker Ave just at the bottom of the small hill.   The Nature Coast Botanical Gardens and Spring Hill Garden Club Nursery are located just past the Firehouse. 
 
From Suncoast Parkway:  Take Spring Hill Drive exit 41 heading West, travel about 9 miles to Parker Ave on your right.  There will be a dentist office on the corner.  The Nature Coast Botanical Gardens and Spring Hill Garden Club Nursery are located just past the Firehouse.
